About The Custom Food Company

At The Custom Food Company, we cook with passion and love- our love language is feeding people. We also believe in real food. No additives, preservatives, or fillers, just good, healthy, whole food. 

 Our goals for the company are to save our customers time and money, reduce overall food waste, support local producers and suppliers, and to collaborate with community and local businesses through food education, partnerships, and community engagement.

Customers benefit from receiving delicious, homestyle, prepared, frozen dishes that they can enjoy at their convenience and fill their  bellies in good conscious. 

As someone with Crohn's disease, I've had a tough relationship with food. Food was something that often made me sick, so I never enjoyed eating or preparing it. Once I got a handle on the disease, food quickly became an empowering tool for me.

 I am fascinated by nutrition and the body, how our food is grown and produced, how we eat, and the creativity of cooking. I had the opportunity to engage communities through Community Kitchens and Urban Gardening programs, helping to facilitate skill development and unleash the empowerment that food has to offer. 

From there, cooking became my therapy and I realized that I love to feed people. There is nothing that fills my heart more than providing a meal for someone and them enjoy it. That is why I created The Custom Food Company. Not only does it fill my passion and need to cook but my efforts help others eat well when that’s hard to do, for whatever reason.
